Very glad to be participating in the JNCL-NCLIS Language Advocacy Days this week!
The initiatives we are promoting to Congress include support for teacher pipelines, new legislation to encourage Seal of Biliteracy programs, grants for innovative world language programs, funding for the Native American Language Resource Center, additional money and resources for study abroad, and the America’s Languages Caucus, which stems from the report we read in Module 1 and has led to the creation of the America’s Languages Portal.
