Corpus analysis can be a terrific asset for language teachers – if you learn the tools and also decide how you want to make use of them in your own linguistic explorations and with your students.

Corpus Tools and Techniques

This guide is based on resources that were collected for FLT 845 Language Concepts in the MAFLT Program. Students in that course learn the general concepts of linguistics, then work with corpus tools to analyze their target language and create their own small corpora. Also, they collaborate to build a website that presents language concepts in their target languages.
